Dear friend of the Centre,

September marks the halfway point of the 2011-12 fiscal year. We're proud of what we've accomplished so far, and invite you to join us as we continue to bring people and knowledge together to strengthen care for Ontario's children, youth, parents and caregivers.

The Centre is looking for parents, family members and caregivers to help develop and implement a family engagement training program for Ontario child and youth mental health service providers and agencies. There's no substitute for lived experience and family members will join a team of other families, service providers and consultants to build a training program that is relevant, realistic and effective. Gathering GroundGathering Ground is returning this fall to Thunder Bay (October 25) and Ottawa (November 1). The Gathering Ground event scheduled for October 6 in Kingston has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Gathering Ground would be of interest to all professionals working together to provide effective child and youth mental health services – including front-line service providers, managers and leaders. We are looking for posters to share practical examples of innovative and evidence-informed practices from child and youth mental health organizations across Ontario. Learn more
