Planning evaluation grant

The planning evaluation program helps agencies step back, take a look around and prepare a roadmap for the future. Participants work with a Centre consultant to survey the evidence landscape, analyze their current capacity and services, set goals and lay the groundwork for successful program evaluation.

• Up to $20,000 over 12 months
• Up to $2500 for student support
• Helps an organization develop an evaluation framework and begin to collect data

Key Activities:

• Work closely with a Centre program associate for ongoing support through regular teleconferences and webinars
• Host a site visit with your assigned program associate
• Receive training and support on a wide range of topics, from developing a logic model to designing custom-tailored evaluation methods focused on measuring mental health outcomes
• Participate in a community of practice to share evaluation-related experiences and strategies
• Build capacity within your organization to conduct future evaluations, to ensure your services keep getting stronger

All interested applicants must complete a Readiness Assessment before May 18, 2012. Applicants who have not participated in a readiness assessment will NOT be considered.
