Quality standards for engagement
The Centre is working with youth, families, researchers, service providers and leaders to set the bar for engagement across the province by developing quality standards for youth and family engagement in Ontario’s child and youth mental health sector.
Quality standards are concise sets of statements that outline what quality processes and services look like. These evidence-informed standards will benefit youth and families by helping you to make engagement processes better and more consistent across the province.
Now we are looking for broader feedback - from youth, families and service providers, respectively - to truly define excellence in youth and family engagement. The data we collect will be used along with information from other sources (e.g. focus group discussions, evidence from literature) to further guide the development of the youth and family engagement standards.
