QI - The return
Our Quality Improvement (QI) Specialists headed back to St. Clair Child and Youth Services this week to finish off where they left the last time. The QI specialists are doing a deep dive with the group and have been facilitating the Lean review of the walk-in process for the agency. Their goal this week was to go back to what they had mapped as the current state of the walk-in process and brainstorm quality improvement opportunities that would address several challenges in the process. The group successfully identified 14 improvement opportunities within 3 key areas of the work. This now allows the team to formulate a more concrete action plan and begin moving to address these quality issues and make the walk-in service better for the children, youth, and families they serve!
