New year, new opportunities

Thursday, December 14, 2017Heather Ennis

Under renovation! New year, new opportunies. We're planning for the future and we need your help!As we prepare to close the books on the Centre's current strategic plan in March 2018, we're setting the stage for the next three years by kicking off a comprehensive strategic planning process that builds on our strengths and challenges us to take our work to a new level.

Our strategic planning process will be informed by a wide range of Centre stakeholders and it will guide our priorities and activities in a way that is meaningful, measurable and collaborative. We want a plan that strengthens our successes while pushing us to explore new opportunities to facilitate transformational change.

We can't do this alone. We need your help.

We need you to contribute to our planning process by taking part in our electronic survey. The Centre is committed to protecting your privacy. Although we do ask you to identify your agency and role, unless we follow-up with you, your feedback will be used exclusively to inform the Centre’s future plans.

This is an interesting and exciting time for child and youth mental health. We're learning more every day, but there's still so much uncharted territory – in practice, policy, research, quality, engagement, collaboration, performance and education. The possibilities are endless. Nobody can do it all, but we all have a part to play.

We're proud of the past, confident in the present, and incredibly excited about what the future holds. We look forward to hearing from you in January and working with existing and new partners to build a transformed system that makes sense for Ontario children, youth and families.

Better is always possible.
