Improving the quality of our services
On October 18th we held our first ever quality improvement symposium: Illuminate, Innovate, Inspire - Better care for children, youth and families through quality improvement. Over 90 colleagues and stakeholders joined us at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa to take part in a one-day session focused on building a culture of quality in their organizations.
Attendants were treated to a keynote address presented by Dr. Kathi Pajer and invited to join a fireside chat with child and youth mental health agencies who have begun their quality improvement journey.
Participants looking to improve the quality of services they provide, seeking information on the latest quality improvement approaches, or wanting to obtain tools and resources to help refine their services to better meet the needs of children, youth and families in their communities were able to do so in a comfortable and collaborative environment.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this one of our most popular events and a reminder to contact our QI Specialists when you are ready to begin your quality improvement journey.
