Media Relations Procedures
Inquiries by the Media
All media inquiries are to be directed to the Communications Office (613-737-7600 x3332). After business hours, media relations assistance is available at 613-220-1741.
Media Visiting the Centre
While on the Centre or CHEO hospital premises, all members of the media must be accompanied by Communications staff (or designate) for the duration of their visit.
Media Relations for Children, Youth and Families
Parental consent is required before an interview takes place between a child/youth and a member of the media. If the child/youth is younger than 16 years, a parent or guardian must be present for the interview. A media consent form is used for that purpose.
